Sestri Honoring Genoese Singer Piero Parodi with New Mural

A new mural dedicated to Piero Parodi, a singer-songwriter known for his contributions to Genoese musical tradition, will be inaugurated on Saturday, November 7, in Sestri. The artwork, located in via Sestri near piazza Ranco, aims to preserve the memory of Parodi’s artistic journey and his deep connection to the city of Genoa.

The mural was created by artist Nicolino Giulio Centanaro, also known as Giuliogol, with support from the Prossimo association. The project involved contributions from Parodi’s family, including his wife Liliana, as well as several local individuals. The inauguration ceremony is expected to host friends and artists who shared musical and personal experiences with the late singer.
