Sestriere in Fiore 2026 awards celebrate record participation

The Sestriere in Fiore 2026 awards ceremony took place on August 28 at the Sestriere Tourism Office meeting room. Organized by the Pro Loco di Sestriere in collaboration with the Municipality of Sestriere and the Sestriere Tourism Consortium, the event saw a record 40 participants.

Mayor Gianni Poncet and Vice Mayor Emanuela Tedeschi Ruspa presented the awards, noting that the participants' efforts to decorate commercial activities and residential buildings complement the municipality's summer investments in public areas across the Colle and surrounding districts like Champlas Janvier, Champlas du Col, and Borgata.

The jury evaluated entries based on color combinations, flower health, originality of decorations, and architectural harmony. Winners received plaques from the Municipality of Sestriere, while all participants received floral prizes. Key winners included Campeggio Chisonetto (Hotel), Le Cafe Creme (Bar), Du Grand Pere Hosteria (Restaurant), and Cit Roc (Condominiums).
