Setúbal de Volta urges Portugal Socialists to offer concrete proposals

The independent municipal movement Setúbal de Volta issued a response to a press conference held by Portugal's Socialist Party (PS). The movement accused the PS councillors of generating "noise" and personal attacks instead of presenting concrete policies for the municipality. It demanded that the Socialists formally submit the campaign promises they advocated, such as constructing walkways in the Arrábida area and providing a free Navegante pass for all residents, with accompanying technical and financial justification.

Setúbal de Volta also defended its handling of urban cleaning, stating that this responsibility lies with parish councils, three of which are led by the PS. Regarding an audit of previous municipal terms raised by the PS, the movement affirmed that the process follows legal procedures and reiterated its commitment to transparency and thorough fact‑finding.
