Seth Dillon addresses Alabama Policy Institute annual dinner

Seth Dillon, CEO of the satirical platform Babylon Bee, delivered a speech at the Alabama Policy Institute’s (API) 37th annual dinner. Dillon stated that his company sacrificed more than 40% of its web traffic to avoid deleting a joke, emphasizing that there is no price too high to pay for freedom.

The event included several prominent Alabama political figures, including U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, U.S. Representative Gary Palmer, and Secretary of State Wes Allen. During the ceremony, the API presented the Warrior Award to Melea Stephens for her role in the passage of the App Store Accountability Act.

The evening also served as a tribute to the institute’s founders, specifically honoring the late Tom Bradford. API President and CEO Stephanie Smith and founding president Gary Palmer spoke about the organization’s history and the legacy of its early leadership.
