Seth Rollins addresses WWE television absence and return plans

Seth Rollins has addressed his recent absence from WWE television following his loss to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Speaking with ESPN Chicago, Rollins stated he is “taking my time right now, kind of focusing on other things” and will return “when the time is right.”

While Rollins has not appeared on weekly programming, he has remained active by competing in non-televised house shows during a recent WWE tour of South America and Mexico. He also noted his upcoming appearance on the NFL Network to discuss football.

Reports indicate that WWE creative has already established plans for his return, but the company is waiting for the optimal moment to reintegrate him into storylines. Although Rollins was previously expected to participate in the upcoming Money in the Bank event, those plans have reportedly shifted, though a television return is expected in the near future.
