Settlers begin constructing new road near Deir Ammar

Settler bulldozers have begun constructing a new settlement road near residential homes in the western face area of Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah. Local sources report that the excavation work is occurring close to homes, raising fears among residents regarding land confiscation and the imposition of a new reality on the area.

In a related development, groups of settlers were observed on the Marj Say' road connecting the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, east of Ramallah. These actions occur amid a continuous escalation of settler activities and attacks against Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that Israeli forces and settlers carried out 2,256 attacks in July. Additionally, the Commission documented 11,074 attacks in the West Bank during the first half of 2026, noting that settlers attempted to establish 29 new agricultural and pastoral settlement outposts across nine governorates in July to increase control over Palestinian lands.
