Settlers continue to move freely near Qusra village
Despite the start of an evacuation process for a settler outpost located in Area B between the villages of Qusra and Jalud south of Nablus, settlers continue to move freely within an area declared a closed military zone. Although the Israeli military is present in the region, groups of settlers are reportedly observed daily near Palestinian homes that have been under siege since mid-August.
The outpost remains active, with settlers utilizing seized Palestinian buildings rather than temporary structures. This practice in Area B makes the demolition of such outposts difficult, as only Palestinian property is involved. Residents of the area have expressed fears for their safety, noting a lack of protection from the military during encounters with settlers.
The Israeli Supreme Court is expected to review a petition filed by the residents of Qusra regarding the ongoing harassment by settlers.
