Seun Kuti describes guests fleeing Peller and Jarvis' wedding due to agberos

Nigerian musician Seun Kuti has described the chaotic departure of guests from the wedding of TikTok personalities Peller (Habeeb Hamzat) and Jarvis (Amadou Elizabeth Aminata). The high-profile ceremony, held in Lekki, Lagos, attracted various celebrities, politicians, and influencers.

Kuti claimed that guests, who arrived as prominent figures, felt compelled to leave the venue quietly to avoid trouble caused by a heavy presence of Lagos agberos (touts). He humorously remarked, “Everybody escaped from that wedding,” comparing the attendees' exit to that of thieves fleeing pursuit rather than leaving with the confidence of “big men.”

The musician’s account has highlighted ongoing concerns regarding harassment and extortion by area boys and touts at large public gatherings and social events throughout Lagos.
