Seungri announces marriage and upcoming child

Former BIGBANG member Seungri has announced that he has legally registered his marriage and is expecting his first child, a son, in January 2027. In an interview with Ilgan Sports, he denied rumors that the marriage was prompted by an unplanned pregnancy.

Seungri stated that he and his wife, who is not in the entertainment industry, do not currently have plans to hold a wedding ceremony. The announcement has drawn significant attention to his former partner, Yoo Hye Won, a KOL and former actress who remained with him during his legal troubles. Following the news, Yoo posted a video of the sun without a caption, leading to online speculation regarding whether the post held any underlying meaning.
