SEUR reduces emissions per shipment by 9.1% in 2025

SEUR, part of the Geopost group, has reported progress in its sustainability strategy for 2025, moving toward its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2040. Despite a 7.69% increase in total shipments compared to 2024—reaching 140 million deliveries—the company successfully reduced the emissions intensity per package by 9.1%, down to 0.70 kg of CO2 equivalent per shipment.

Key drivers of this reduction include logistical efficiency, the progressive electrification of its fleet, and the use of alternative fuels. SEUR expanded its zero-emissions fleet to 741 vehicles, with sustainable vehicles covering 15.4% of total urban delivery distances. This shift helped avoid 5,990 tons of CO2 equivalent and reduced urban delivery emissions by 9.5% compared to the previous year.

Additionally, the company utilized Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) for land transport, covering over 3.9 million kilometers and preventing 3,324 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions compared to traditional fossil fuels.
