Clandestine graves uncovered in several Mexican states

Authorities and volunteer search collectives have uncovered multiple clandestine burial sites across Mexico.

In San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, investigators located a hidden grave after a Facebook video prompted a police operation. The site was cordoned off and forensic teams are processing the remains for genetic identification.

In Miguel Alemán, Tamaulipas, the collective "Amor por los Desaparecidos" found seven buried pits containing human bones, clothing and personal items. The graves were spaced over a 400‑meter area; some victims showed tied hands and dental appliances. National Guard and state police are assisting the investigation.

In Salamanca, Guanajuato, the group "Salamanca Unidos Buscando Desaparecidos" filed a request for protective measures for five of its members who have faced threats and violence while searching for missing relatives.

In Jiutepec, Morelos, cemetery workers discovered sacks with human skeletal fragments, prompting a police perimeter and forensic analysis to determine whether the remains belong to five distinct individuals and to investigate possible grave desecration.
