Seven-Eleven convenience food sales exceed 20 million units
Seven-Eleven has announced that its ‘All New’ convenience food line has surpassed 20 million cumulative sales since its launch in April. The brand has seen significant growth following its ‘Rice Project,’ a quality improvement initiative designed to maintain moisture and texture in refrigerated rice.
Since the rebranding, sales of triangle kimbap and kimbap have increased by 33% and 28% respectively compared to the previous year, marking a growth rate more than 10 percentage points higher than the first quarter. The company is expanding this concept to other categories, recently launching two types of ‘All New Inari Sushi’ that utilize specialized vinegar and high-quality ingredients.
Seven-Eleven aims to apply the ‘All New’ concept to all refrigerated convenience food products to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
