Seven-Eleven expands and relocates stores in Saitama

New construction projects involving Seven-Eleven convenience stores are underway in two locations within Saitama Prefecture.

In Kawagoe City, a new Seven-Eleven is being built in Sugawara-cho, across from Sugawara Shrine. This follows the closure of the previous Kawagoe Sugawara-cho branch in February 2024. The new site is expected to feature a larger parking area than the former location, with construction scheduled to continue until December 2, 2026.

In Niiza City, the existing Seven-Eleven Niiza Hatanaka 1-chome store is relocating to an adjacent site. Construction on the new facility began around July 2026, with an expected opening around late September. The new location will occupy a significantly larger area of 1,925 square meters, allowing for a much larger parking lot compared to the current store.
