Seven-Eleven Japan expands apparel with and ST collaboration
Seven-Eleven Japan is expanding its apparel offerings through a partnership with fashion company and ST. Starting September 25, the convenience store chain will roll out a series of 23 fashion items across its approximately 22,000 stores in Japan.
The collaboration features exclusive products from popular brands such as “niko and . . .” and “LOWRYS FARM,” including socks, T-shirts, and eco-bags. The initiative, themed “EDIT FASHION,” aims to transition the store's apparel role from emergency purchases to intentional lifestyle shopping, specifically targeting women in their 20s to 40s and younger demographics.
Following the initial launch, a special collaboration featuring Sanrio’s “Hello Kitty” is scheduled to begin on October 23, offering items such as sweatshirts and hoodies. This strategic move follows similar trends by competitors like FamilyMart and Lawson, as convenience stores seek to diversify their product categories and increase customer engagement.
