Seven-Eleven Japan renews premium frozen mushroom pasta

Seven-Eleven Japan is renewing its Seven Premium Gold frozen pasta line with the release of the ‘Seven Premium Gold Truffle Scented Luxury Style Kin no Kinoko Cream Fresh Pasta’. Starting September 15, the product will be rolled out to stores nationwide.

The updated version features approximately twice the amount of mushrooms compared to the previous iteration, aiming to enhance texture and flavor. Additionally, the recipe now includes truffle oil to provide a richer aroma when heated. Despite the increased ingredients and premium additions, the retail price remains unchanged at 462 yen (including tax).

The pasta is made using 100% durum wheat through an original high-pressure extrusion method to achieve a chewy texture. The product also features a convenient tray design that allows for microwave heating without removing the lid.
