Seven Swedish military personnel injured in Kråks shooting range explosion

Seven employees of the Swedish Armed Forces were injured in an explosion during a military exercise at the Kråks shooting range in Karlsborg on Thursday. The incident occurred during an ammunition clearance operation.

Five of the injured individuals were transported to intensive care. One man in his 20s is being treated at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg in serious but stable condition. The other six injured individuals, all men aged between 20 and 30, are being treated at a hospital in Skövde and are reported to be in stable condition. The victims reportedly sustained shrapnel injuries.

Local residents living near the shooting range expressed shock at the event, noting that while military activity is common in the area, an explosion of this nature is highly unusual.
