Seven youths charged in Paredes railway station assault

The Public Ministry has filed charges against seven youths for an assault and robbery that occurred at the Paredes railway station in the Porto district in July 2025. The indictment includes charges of robbery and qualified offenses against physical integrity.

According to the prosecution, the group acted in concert to attack a man, delivering punches and kicks to his head, abdomen, and ribs. The assault reportedly caused the victim to fall to the ground and lose consciousness, at which point the attackers continued to kick him in the head. The group attempted to steal a jacket valued at 120 euros but successfully took the victim's branded cap.
