SEVENTEEN members Seungkwan and Dino begin mandatory military service

Seungkwan and Dino of the K-pop group SEVENTEEN officially began their mandatory military service on October 26, 2026. Both members are scheduled to enter the Army Training Center together before serving as members of a military band.

Pledis Entertainment announced that there will be no official farewell ceremonies for the two members, requesting that fans refrain from visiting the enlistment location to maintain order for the soldiers and their families. The agency noted that group content has been prepared in advance to maintain engagement with fans during the hiatus.

The enlistment of Seungkwan and Dino marks the beginning of a full hiatus for the group's activities. Other members are currently serving or have completed their service: Jeonghan has finished his duty, while Wonwoo, Woozi, Hoshi, Vernon, Dokyeom, and Mingyu are still fulfilling their obligations. S.Coups has been exempted due to a meniscus injury, and Joshua, Jun, and THE8 are exempt due to their foreign citizenship.
