Severe Flood Advisory Issued for Multiple Ohio Counties

The National Weather Service has placed a Flood Advisory in effect until 7:30 p.m. EDT for parts of Butler, Warren, Hamilton and Clermont counties in Ohio, where up to two inches of rain have already fallen and an additional half to one inch is possible. Minor flooding is expected in low‑lying and poorly drained areas, with warnings to avoid driving through flooded roads.

An Air Quality Advisory also covers the same Ohio counties, as well as neighboring counties in Kentucky and Indiana, because smoke from Canadian wildfires is elevating fine particulate levels. The advisory warns that conditions range from "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" to "Unhealthy" and urges people with respiratory conditions, heart disease, or children to limit outdoor activity.

Residents are advised to stay informed via local weather and air‑quality agencies, report flooding, and take precautionary actions to protect health and safety.
