Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Kenosha and Racine Counties, Wisconsin

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Kenosha and Racine Counties on July 3, 2026, with expected wind gusts up to 70 mph and quarter‑size hail. The warning, covering areas including Mount Pleasant, Caledonia, Burlington, Whitewater, Elkhorn and Delavan, was set to expire at 1:30 p.m. CDT.

Later updates cancelled the warning for Walworth County but kept it in effect for Kenosha and Racine until 1:15 p.m. CDT. Hazards included potential roof, siding, tree and mobile‑home damage, with a tornado possibility noted.
