Severe Traffic Accident on L1141 Near Sachsenheim Injures 77-Year-Old Cyclist

A serious traffic accident occurred on Saturday around 09:30 on Landesstraße 1141 between Kleinsachsenheim and Löchgau, near Sachsenheim in Baden‑Württemberg. A 19‑year‑old driver of an Opel vehicle was traveling northward when a 77‑year‑old man on a pedelec entered the road from a field‑track and failed to yield. The side‑collision threw the cyclist over the car’s hood, landing him in the green strip where he sustained severe injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

The incident caused total road closure until approximately 11:50 while police and emergency services conducted the investigation. Three police patrols from the Ludwigsburg police and an ambulance with two paramedics attended the scene. Damage to the vehicle and surrounding property was estimated at about €6,500.
