Severe weather and rising temperatures forecast for US region

The southeastern United States is facing a period of fluctuating weather, including risks of severe storms and rising temperatures. Friday evening carries a marginal risk of severe weather, with the primary concern being damaging winds in the strongest storms. Following this, temperatures are expected to climb into the upper 80s and low 90s for the start of the weekend.

Looking ahead to Monday, a slight risk of severe weather is forecast for the evening. If storms reach full potential, there is a possibility of an isolated EF2 or stronger tornado, hail larger than two inches, and wind gusts between 65 and 75 miles per hour. Monday will also see a significant temperature increase, with highs returning to the 90s driven by strong southerly winds. Temperatures are expected to cool down across the state on Tuesday.
