Sevilla FC pursues budget‑relief moves for Juanlu Sánchez and Pablo Martínez

Sevilla FC is looking to cut costs ahead of the 2026 summer window. The Andalusian club is reportedly ready to sell right‑back Juanlu Sánchez, who has attracted renewed interest from Serie A side Napoli. Napoli sees Sánchez as a cheaper option to strengthen their right flank and could provide Sevilla with much‑needed liquid assets.

At the same time, Sevilla has entered negotiations with free‑agent midfielder Pablo Martínez, whose contract with Levante UD has ended. Martínez, a 28‑year‑old known for his physical presence and leadership, is also being courted by several other La Liga clubs, including Getafe, Rayo Vallecano, Osasuna, Alavés and Elche. Sevilla hopes to secure the player on a cost‑effective deal that fits its tightened wage structure.
