Akor Adams joins Venezia in €23 million transfer
Nigerian striker Akor Adams is completing a move from Sevilla to Serie A newcomers Venezia. The clubs have agreed on a package worth up to €23 million, including a guaranteed €16 million fee and performance‑related bonuses that could raise the total. Adams is traveling to Italy on 21 July, will undergo a medical in Venice and is expected to sign a long‑term contract shortly thereafter.
The transfer is the most expensive in Venezia’s history and is viewed as a key signing to help the promoted side fight relegation. For Sevilla, the sale provides a substantial financial boost, easing wage‑bill pressure and funding future signings.
Adams arrives after a season with Sevilla in which he scored 10 league goals and added three assists, and he is expected to lead the attack for Venezia in the upcoming Serie A campaign.
