Sevilla FC manages squad overhaul amid transfer offers
Sevilla FC is actively managing squad changes during the final stages of the summer transfer window, focusing on both player departures to generate revenue and strategic new arrivals.
Olympiakos has submitted a €12 million offer for Swiss winger Rubén Vargas, a significant increase from his €2.5 million purchase price. Meanwhile, midfielder Lucien Agoumé is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with potential offers reaching between €20 million and €30 million. The club is also working on the departure of Brazilian defender Marcao, who is open to moving, potentially back to Brazil.
To reinforce the squad, Sevilla is pursuing several targets. Negotiations are advancing for the arrival of 19-year-old striker George Ilenikhena on a loan with an option to buy. The club is also interested in Spanish winger Bryan Zaragoza, currently at Bayern Munich, though they face competition from RCD Espanyol. Additionally, the club is working to finalize the signing of Georgian midfielder Giorgi Kochorashvili.
