Sevilla FC’s summer transfer moves: Nianzou departs for Lille, Cádiz prospects pursued
Central defender Tanguy Nianzou has completed his medical examination and is set to leave Sevilla FC on a free transfer to French club Lille, relieving the Spanish side of his salary while retaining a modest fee for the remaining contract year. The deal gives Sevilla salary‑space ahead of the new season.
At the same time, Sevilla’s sporting director is monitoring two young Cádiz CF players as potential reinforcements. Left‑back Mario Climent, 24, has impressed with his pace and attacking support, while 22‑year‑old Malian midfielder Moussa Diakité offers physicality and midfield coverage. Both are seen as low‑cost options that fit the club’s policy of adding youthful talent without heavy expenditure.
