Sevilla hosts Feria de San Miguel and Guadalquivir Night Race

The Feria de San Miguel has commenced in Sevilla, featuring a multi-day bullfighting schedule at the Real Maestranza. The event includes a novillada featuring Olga Casado, the first woman to ride in a fair's novillada in several years, alongside Ignacio Garibay and Manuel Domínguez.

Subsequent official bullfights will feature prominent figures such as Alejandro Talavante, José María Manzanares, and Juan Ortega on Friday, followed by Roca Rey, Emilio de Justo, and Pablo Aguado on Saturday. The festival concludes on Sunday with Morante de la Puebla, Daniel Luque, and Borja Jiménez. High demand has already led to reports of sold-out tickets for the weekend sessions.

In addition to the bullfighting, Sevilla is hosting the 38th Guadalquivir Night Race on Friday at 22:00. This year's race features a record 26,000 participants and introduces a new route that runs in reverse compared to previous years, covering an 8.5-kilometer course through the historic center.
