Sevilla II inmates participate in pilgrimage to Fátima

Four inmates from the Sevilla II Penitentiary Center participated in a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima in Portugal. The journey was facilitated by the Prison Pastoral Care of the Archdiocese of Seville, accompanied by a chaplain, volunteers, and prison staff.

The initiative was organized in collaboration with several religious brotherhoods, including the Hermandad de la Vera Cruz de Marchena, the Hermandad de Fátima de Los Molares, and the Hermandad del Rocío de Marchena. According to Félix Quijada, the diocesan delegate for Prison Pastoral Care, the program aims to provide spiritual support and foster personal growth to assist in the future social reintegration of incarcerated individuals.
