Sevilla police arrest five suspects in Puente Genil phone store robbery

Five individuals have been arrested in Sevilla following a series of robberies that began with a daylight theft at a mobile phone store in Puente Genil. The robbery occurred at a shop on Manuel Reina Avenue in the Matallana area, where several mobile devices were taken from a display case in front of customers and passersby.

Witnesses reported that a citizen attempted to intervene and block the suspects' escape. Following the incident, local police and the Guardia Civil collected information at the scene. Security footage from the establishment helped identify the suspects and their vehicle.

Sevilla Local Police tracked the suspects' vehicle along the SE-30 highway. After conducting a discreet follow-up to avoid detection, officers intercepted and detained the five occupants near the Avenida de Andalucía exit.
