Sevilla rejects €10m Venezia bid for Nigerian striker Akor Adams
Sevilla have turned down a €10 million offer from newly promoted Serie A side Venezia for Nigerian forward Akor Adams, stating they expect a fee nearer €25 million. Adams, 26, joined Sevilla from Montpellier in the January 2025 window and finished the season with ten La Liga goals, including two match‑winners that helped the club avoid relegation.
The striker has downplayed transfer speculation, saying his focus remains on Sevilla as the team prepares for the new season. Venezia, looking to strengthen their attack for a return to Serie A, identified Adams as a priority target and also explored signing fellow Nigerian Gift Orban. Other clubs from England, France, Saudi Arabia and the Premier League have shown interest, but Sevilla will only consider offers that match the player’s market value.
