Sevilla sets participation record for nocturnal race

The 38th edition of the Carrera Nocturna del Guadalquivir KH-7 in Seville achieved a historic milestone with 26,000 runners participating. This figure broke previous records after the initial 25,000 bibs and 1,000 additional spots were exhausted.

Laia González and Ángel Martín emerged as the winners of the 8.5-kilometer course. Seville Mayor José Luis Sanz stated that the record confirms the event as the most important nocturnal race in Europe.

KH-7, the primary sponsor, participated in large numbers, with 71 of its 90 employees traveling from Canovelles to Seville to compete in the event.
