Sevilla TechPark awarded 8 million euro lighting renovation contract

The Seville City Council has awarded a contract exceeding 8 million euros for the comprehensive renovation of the public lighting system at Sevilla TechPark, located on Isla de la Cartuja. The project was awarded to a consortium including Conacon, Eiffage, and the UTE Futurgy-Peninsular.

The modernization involves replacing more than 1,500 lighting points with high-efficiency LED equipment featuring point-to-point remote management. This upgrade is expected to achieve energy savings of over 75% compared to the current system while improving maintenance and operational control.

To meet the deadlines required by the municipal aid program, the work will be divided into three sectors and executed simultaneously through three independent lots. The project is supported by a 9.4 million euro reimbursable loan as part of a program for singular municipal lighting renovation projects.
