Seville faces transport disruptions during La Vuelta race
The passage of the La Vuelta cycling race through Seville has caused significant disruptions to the city's public transportation system. Residents have reported long wait times and cancellations of several bus lines, including the C1, C3, and C4, as the race route takes precedence over local transit.
Seville Mayor José Luis Sanz stated that the event is expected to generate an economic impact of approximately two million euros, suggesting that the temporary inconveniences are worthwhile for the city. However, local citizens have expressed frustration, noting that the race's impact on transit during a workday has caused widespread paralysis in certain areas.
