Seville hosts Gran Semana Anglo-árabe equestrian competitions
The XVI Gran Semana Anglo-árabe concluded at Parque del Alamillo in Seville, featuring international equestrian competitions. The event aimed to bring the world of horse riding closer to the general public by keeping the park areas open for free viewing.
In the highest category, the CCI3*-S International Three Stars, Manuel Senra secured victory riding Galaad de Ballac. In the CCI2 category, Carlos Díaz won with Taraje CP, a multi-time Spanish champion and participant in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Francisco Gaviño, an Olympic rider, took first place in the CCI1 category riding Janus des Martrettes.
María Tena, the Sports Delegate for the Seville City Council, attended the awards ceremony and highlighted the municipal commitment to events that combine high-level competition with the promotion of the livestock sector and the revitalization of the city's green spaces.
