Seville hosts initiatives for gender equality and social inclusion

In Seville, various initiatives are addressing gender equality and social inclusion. The Diputación de Sevilla organized the 'Tejiendo redes' conference to promote labor insertion and empowerment for women from diverse backgrounds, marking the International Day of Rural Women. This initiative, proposed by the Association of Andalusian Roma University Women (AMURADI), aims to create professional networks and address intersectional barriers to employment.

Simultaneously, the city is commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Forum of Men for Equality. This milestone includes the 'March for Men for Equality and Non-Violence' and a series of events at the University of Seville. The program focuses on transforming dominant masculinities and combating the rise of 'neomachista' reactions and gender violence denialism, emphasizing the role of men in fostering a culture of peace.
