Seville man dies after self-inflicted neck wound in public

A man died in Seville after cutting his throat in the Luis Montoto street area near the aqueduct. The incident occurred around 11:50 AM.

Witnesses reported that the man entered a fish market located across from Bodeguita La Chicotá, stole a knife from a worker, and proceeded to cut his own jugular. Despite efforts by emergency medical teams to resuscitate him, he passed away at the scene.

Local police implemented traffic regulations in the area, closing sections of Juan Antonio Cavestany with Moreno Galván street and Avenida de la Buhaira with Luis Montoto. Emergency services advised residents to avoid the vicinity and use alternative routes.
