Seville's Icónica Santalucía Festival 2026 draws record crowds and €295 million economic impact

The sixth edition of the Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, held from June 4 to July 18, 2026 in Plaza de España, attracted 369,192 attendees – a 30% rise over the previous year. The event generated a direct economic impact of €193.5 million and €101.3 million in media value, totaling €294.9 million, and created around 3,500 direct jobs. Over 350 local companies were contracted, with 280 based in the province of Sevilla. Foreign visitors numbered 60,999, chiefly from Portugal, the United Kingdom, Italy and the United States.

International star Sting closed the festival with his STING 3.0 tour, delivering a stripped‑down trio performance that reviewers praised for highlighting the quality of his classic songs. The concert was a sold‑out and capped a line‑up that also featured Robbie Williams, Lenny Kravitz, Juan Luis Guerra, Maroon 5, and other major acts.
