Polish Police see record recruitment and regional professional competitions
The Polish Police are conducting several regional initiatives focused on recruitment and professional development. In Lower Silesia, the police recorded a significant recruitment milestone in September, welcoming 150 new officers to the regional garrison. These new recruits will undergo approximately six months of professional training covering legal regulations, intervention tactics, and basic service duties.
Simultaneously, various regional stages of national competitions are underway to enhance officer expertise. In the Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podkarpackie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, and Podlaskie regions, disciplinary officers are competing in knowledge tests regarding professional responsibility and legal procedures. Winners from these regional rounds will advance to national finals.
Additionally, in Wrocław, a municipal competition for officers serving as public prosecutors focused on misdemeanor law and investigative procedures. The winner of this local stage will proceed to the provincial level of the competition.
