Sexemodel platform under investigation for alleged child prostitution

French authorities have launched an investigation into the escort advertisement platform Sexemodel, recently renamed MesLibertines, following allegations that it hosts hundreds of advertisements involving minors. While profiles on the site claim the individuals are 19 or 20 years old, investigations suggest the photos depict adolescent bodies.

Paris Prosecutor Laure Beccuau announced that the cybercrime unit is handling the case and has requested assistance from Swiss authorities to gather evidence. The platform is reportedly linked to David Azzato, a Swiss citizen residing in Dubai, who is alleged to earn over 20 million euros annually through subscriptions paid by sex workers to appear on the site.

A spokesperson for the Parapluie Rouge federation noted that there is currently no verification process for the age or authenticity of the photos and text provided on the platform.
