Seychelles announces new leadership for Homeland Security and Land Transport

The Office of the President in Seychelles has announced leadership changes within the Homeland Security and Land Transport departments.

Anne-Marie Michelle Sabury has been appointed as the new Principal Secretary for Homeland Security. Ms Sabury possesses a background in public administration, law enforcement, and international security cooperation. In her new role, she will oversee border management, internal security operations, and interagency coordination to address maritime and transnational security challenges.

Sheryl Vangadasamy, the former Principal Secretary for Homeland Security, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary for Land Transport. This appointment follows the retirement of Patrick Andre. Ms Vangadasamy’s professional experience includes roles in the Seychelles Police Force, the Department of Legal Affairs, and the Financial Services Authority.
