Seychelles appoints new leadership for Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission

The Office of the President of Seychelles has announced two key leadership appointments for the Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission (PEMC), effective September 1, 2026.

Mrs. Estelle Alexis has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the PEMC. A legal professional with expertise in maritime transport law and business law, Mrs. Alexis has previously held senior roles including Legal Advisor at the Seychelles Ports Authority and Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Transport. She currently serves on several national boards, including the Seychelles Trading Company Ltd.

Ms. Colette Jean-Louis has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the PEMC. Ms. Jean-Louis, who currently serves as a Principal Analyst and Senior Business Analyst at the commission, brings a background in financial analysis, external auditing, and public sector governance. She also serves on the Audit and Risk Committee of the Indian Ocean Commission.
