Seychelles First Lady unveils four-year community strategic framework
Seychelles First Lady Veronique Herminie has introduced an ambitious four-year strategic framework titled ‘Empowering Seychelles Together’. The plan aims to strengthen support for women, children, and vulnerable populations while expanding initiatives focused on education, health, and community well-being.
The framework, presented to Vice-President Sebastien Pillay and Principal Secretary for Administration Doreen Zelia at State House, will serve as a foundation for securing funding and establishing partnerships. Key pillars of the plan include health and wellness, gender equality, and environmental stewardship.
Existing programs such as ‘Welcome to Puberty’, ‘Boys Connect’, and ‘Build Your Dream’ will continue under the new framework. These initiatives are designed to provide young people with knowledge and opportunities for personal development, specifically targeting adolescent education and responsible decision-making for boys.
