Seychelles named top honeymoon destination

The Seychelles has been named the most popular honeymoon destination following an analysis of 25 romantic locations by the travel platform Tourlane. The archipelago is noted for its white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and iconic granite rock formations.

Silhouette Cruises offers specialized sailing cruises to explore the islands, including Curieuse, La Digue, Praslin, and Aride. The company operates the ships Sea Star, Sea Bird, and the historical sailing vessel Sea Pearl, each accommodating up to 20 guests. These cruises allow newlyweds to engage in activities such as snorkeling, diving, and kayaking.

According to owner Amit Wasserberg, the one-week itineraries allow guests to discover more of the islands than typical travelers. Additionally, marriages performed on board Silhouette Cruises vessels are legally recognized in Germany.
