Seychelles to implement digital HR management system next year
The Seychelles government plans to begin implementing a digital Human Resource Management System (HRMS) next year. This initiative is part of a broader digital transformation agenda aimed at modernizing the public service, reducing administrative delays, and improving overall efficiency.
During a strategic briefing at State House with representatives from FreeBalance, Vice-President Sebastien Pillay emphasized that digital transformation must go beyond simply converting physical documents into digital formats. He noted that true efficiency requires changes to existing administrative structures and procedures to prevent continued reliance on manual intervention. The long-term goal is to establish integrated systems that reduce repetitive administrative tasks and accelerate service delivery.
