Seydişehir Municipality launches 35 million TL paving stone facility

Seydişehir Municipality has launched a new paving stone production facility in Konya, Turkey, through its subsidiary SEBELTAŞ A. Ş. The project represents an investment of approximately 35 million Turkish Liras and aims to reduce the municipality's dependence on external suppliers for infrastructure needs.

The facility is equipped with advanced automation and robotic systems, allowing for a fully automated production process. In a single 8-hour shift, the plant is capable of producing approximately 750 square meters of material, with a daily capacity of roughly 24,000 interlocking paving stones.

Beyond paving stones, the facility is designed to produce various concrete elements, including curbs, tiles, briquettes, and rain gutters. Mayor Hasan Ustaoğlu stated that while the primary goal is to meet the municipality's own requirements for road and landscaping projects, the facility also plans to sell products to local citizens upon request.
