Seyi Makinde expands 2027 presidential campaign organization
Seyi Makinde, the presidential candidate for the Allied People’s Movement (APM), has initiated several organizational steps for his 2027 presidential campaign. Through the Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation, Makinde has appointed veteran journalist Amos Dunia as the Special Adviser on Public Affairs to drive the campaign’s ‘Reset Nigeria’ message.
Additionally, the campaign has appointed six zonal coordinators to manage nationwide mobilization. The coordinators include High Chief Dr. Eddy Olafeso (South-West), Mr. Habu Muazu (North-East), Sen. Ibrahim Tsauri (North-West), Dr. Bode Ojomo (North-Central), Mr. Akadiaha Ebitu (South-South), and Sir Obi Okechukwu (South-East). These leaders are tasked with working alongside the National Campaign Management Committee to prepare for the January 16, 2027, elections.
Political scholar Jibril Ibrahim has also expressed support for Makinde’s candidacy, citing the Governor of Oyo State’s administrative track record and his government’s recent investigative inquiry into school abductions as evidence of competence for national leadership.
