SFDR revision: AMF releases findings on transition plans and PAI
The French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) has released its findings regarding the revision of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The AMF's work focuses on two primary operational challenges: the credibility of transition plans for products in the ‘Transition’ category and the management of Principal Adverse Impacts (PAI) for ‘Sustainable’ and ‘Transition’ products.
To ensure the credibility of transition plans, the AMF emphasizes the need for clear trajectories, measurable objectives, and trackable commitments. These elements are intended to provide better assessment criteria for investors.
Simultaneously, PensionsEurope is engaging in the final negotiation phases of the SFDR 2.0 revision. The organization is presenting targeted proposals to ensure the resulting regulatory framework remains proportionate and applicable to professional pension funds within the European Union.
