Sferracavallo seeks urban renewal through better mobility
The committee ‘Il Mare di Sferracavallo’ is advocating for urban improvements to enhance the accessibility and livability of the seaside hamlet. Key objectives include improving public transport for both residents and summer visitors.
Past initiatives have successfully established a pedestrian path connecting the Sferracavallo railway station to via dell’Arancio and installed solar-powered street lighting. Future goals involve completing a safe pedestrian route along the entire street and implementing urban projects such as the full urbanization of via Palazzolo and the expansion of tram Line G, which would include new parking and pedestrian paths near via Catullo.
