Harish Tanwar, a Deputy Director at the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), has been remanded to judicial custody by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. The decision follows his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Chennai.

Tanwar is accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 10 crore from a complainant to provide favorable treatment in a probe related to the DHFL scam. The CBI stated that Tanwar was arrested in Chennai on October 14 and subsequently brought to Delhi on transit remand.

During the proceedings, the court remanded Tanwar to judicial custody until October 28. Two other individuals, Bharat Sharma and Aryan Sharma, are also currently in judicial custody until the same date. The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to confront the accused with collected evidence and co-accused parties.
