SFL Corporation declares 90th consecutive dividend following Q2 earnings boost
SFL Corporation has declared its 90th consecutive quarterly dividend of $0.22 per share, maintaining a distribution record held since its 2004 New York Stock Exchange listing.
For the second quarter, the company reported operating revenue of approximately $201 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $130 million, representing a 20% increase from the previous quarter. This growth was driven largely by strong performance in the tanker market, specifically from two Suezmax tankers operating in the spot market. Net income for the period was reported at $34 million, or $0.25 per share.
The company’s charter backlog has grown to approximately $3.8 billion. SFL’s maritime portfolio includes 61 assets, with container vessels accounting for nearly 70% of contracted revenue. Fleet utilization remained high across most segments, including container vessels at 99.3% and car carriers at 100%.
